Amigos de las Américas (AMIGOS) inspires and builds young leaders through collaborative community development and immersion in cross-cultural experiences.
A recent high school volunteer in Ecuador said:
“The Amigos experience is one that I shall not soon forget, it has opened the doors to new culture and language. My partner and I lived with a host family that I plan to keep in touch with and visit them when I am able to. That is actually the most rewarding part of the Amigos experience, being able to call a family in South America “my” family. They will forever be in my heart.”
